Who needs coffee?

After the 4th of July weekend, who doesn’t? I know not everyone slept through the massive displays of private firework shows taking over every neighborhood in America. At least it gave some much-needed celebration to the holiday. However, it the morning it is “Who needs coffee” time.

Coffee Benefits

Coffee is usually associated with energy but is that all? It does improve mood and in the morning that could be really needed for a lot of people. Coffee is full of antioxidants as well. We all need antioxidants it is so needed in skincare as well as in our bodies.

As a necessity

We all know Starbucks has made a great deal of money on those of us who love the stuff in any form. I am not sure that I necessarily need coffee, but I sure would miss it if I didn’t have it.

Current favorite blend

Currently, I am liking Peet’s Coffee Cafe’ Domingo. It is a medium roast and I am really enjoying the flavor for a morning beverage. Some mornings I make it stronger than others but it never tastes bitter.

Cup of Joe

I do like a nice cup of coffee with a milk and creamer froth top. And this blend doesn’t disappoint.

Just look at that cup of joe, now who needs coffee? Actually, I think I am going to make me some right now.

Milk frother

I use my Nespresso milk frother to create the milk/cream froth. Yes, I put both coffee cream and milk in the frother to make my milk/cream froth. More milk than creamer, of course.

I do love this Nespresso Milk Frother, it is kind of pricey at around $100.00 but I have had mine for a very long time and I have had no issues with it at all. It does hot milk froth for hot drinks and cold for that cold brew that we all love in the summer. You don’t have to have the Nespresso coffee machine to get this frother, so no matter what kind of machine you have, you can have great froth.

I thought any coffee lovers out there would like to see the milk in the frother. The black dot in the container is the top of the magnet whipper that the milk frother uses to whip up the froth or foam as I like to call it.

It is easy to cleanout. All non-stick coating in the frother and it has markers so you know your limits of liquid to put inside. The lid stays on tight. However, if you do overfill it, it can overflow. You can take off the rubber band seal of the lid so you can clean it thoroughly.

All in all, this blend combined with the milk foam from this frother makes a great cup of coffee. And it doesn’t cost $4.00 to $5.00 a drink. It is a bit of an investment up front though. But well worth it in my opinion.
