The 60 second face cleanse makes a lot of sense, it was developed by an esthetician by the name of Nayamka Roberts-Smith of LABeautyologist, who saw great improvements in her clients skin when they practiced this method. It makes sense because some ingredients take a bit longer to work (some never do in this time frame, they need more time). Skin reacts so well to massage and then you are sure to get underneath all of the fine facial hair that everyone has on their face for a really great cleanse.
I know that there are lot of busy people out there that are so tired at the end of the night that a makeup removing wipe is all they can muster. I get that and I don’t see an issues with it sometimes. Fold the makeup wipe around to a clean area and continue for 60 seconds.
My daughter walks around with the silicone scrubber that I got off of amazon. She is not tied to the sink. But she can get in her 60 second face cleanse in and that works for her.
It is a great option, they are inexpensive $14.00 to $20.00. They vibrate which is great for moving the dirt and oils out. It is also good for bring blood up to the surface of the skin.
Clarisonic or facial cleansing brush(s) work great for this as well. They have a timer. Moving it around gets underneath the fine facial hair.
Even if I am not using a facial brush or scrubber, I am using the 60 second facial cleanse. I like using my hands for the night time cleansing the best because I can get the skin moving more. It is so important for muscle tone to move around the facial skin. You can also feel any changes that your skin may be having, a new breakout or under the skin small bumps.
So if you don’t practice the 60 second facial cleanse, I would encourage you to try it for 30 days and see if you don’t see some time of improvement in your face. It is simple and it doesn’t cost anything.
