Why do I love mini(s)?

Firstof all, a lot of times they come free or close to free with deluxe samples. You can get them with your Sephora points, subscription services (which I will cover in coming up posts) or grab bag with ordering so much product or if you order so much from one brand they throw in a deluxe sample product(s).

Let’s be clear, I am not talking about the little flat foil packages (that a lot of samples coming in). I hardly ever use those samples. I hate trying to open up the package, first of all. Then you can’t reseal it. If it doesn’t dry out, you may have enough to try it out more than once or you might not. Packet samples are still useful, but I don’t like them as much.

Even if you do pay for the mini(s) or deluxe samples through a subscription service or just at the store, it is a small investment compared to purchasing the full size.

They are usually more money per ounce, for the mini or deluxe sample size, but for trying things out or something you don’t use too much of, I think it is worth it. You get to try something before you spend time and more money trying a product.

If it is a deluxe sample, you get plenty enough for you to try and see if you even are going to really enjoy the product. Of course, you can also buy the full product size and if you don’t like it return it. However, most of the time I don’t end up returning it.

Using it up, is anything thing as well. How many times have you actually hit pan on a product? Okay, I know there is a lot of people out there that do. However, the last few years, I have had too many products that I am trying out for my maturing skin. I am also not too heavy handed with products, so it takes a long while to hit pan.

There are also a lot of products that expire quite quickly. Some lotions and potions don’t have a very long shelf life, even if you keep them in the fridge. But you will more than likely go through a mini before it goes bad or expires.

Then there is traveling or even just your purse make up bag, mini(s), deluxe samples or even super small mini(s) fit so well. You can get so much more in the small space of your makeup purse and be prepared for anything (well, makeup and skin care wise).

Besides, the fact that they are super cute in this form. You know, you love how cute they are too.

You can also put together a small travel bag, purse bag for a friend with these mini(s) or deluxe samples and they are less expensive this way, most of the time. That way you get to share your love of makeup and skin care.
